so i'm learning chinese now and i'm on lesson 4 or something. it takes longer than I would expect, but it seems like it’s working. i can talk all about male children drinking water, or female adults running or reading books, i just don’t really know how to say anything else. it’s kind of a weird way of learning things, it feels piecemeal, but i guess it’ll get there. it does a good job of making you learn things quickly and efficiently. you look at pictures and have to figure out what they’re talking about, no english allowed. it’s fun.
better update later, i'm going to see downtown tonight, i'll take pictures and post about it tonight or tomorrow.
edit: fun night cancelled, the metro closes earlier than i thought and i'm not paying for cab fare there AND back. might go to the zoo tomorrow though, that might be fun.
you better come back speaking chinese like a boss and also give me really wise advice with all of your chinese knowledge...this isn't me trying to pressure you but trying to motivate you
