pizza is my spirit animal OR sometimes i like to treat myself

*THIS POST BORING DUE TO SICKNESS*

so i've been sick since yesterday (2 days ago blog time?), i guess i should have seen it coming (26 hours on an airplane new people new germs sharing a room with 20 people). i've been sleeping about 18 hours a day and i'm mostly over it hooraaaay.

point is i felt like treating myself tonight. so i googlemapped for pizza. 2 results came up, both for this place called cut 5 pizza or something. i set it to street view, memorized what was around it and set out. i did this for both the places in case i couldn’t find the first, which seemed fairly likely given my track record and the fact that all the street names are written in pictures, seriously step it up googlemaps.

struck out on the first location, the closest thing i could find was a place that specialized in selling coca cola that had italian looking red and white check tablecloths. weird. so i wandered over to by where the metro station is to look for the other one. at first things looked bad, there was a mcdonald’s and a big shop that said 116 (which i figured out was the address). eventually i  realized the 116 was like a six story mall, so hoping there would be 5 cut pizza inside i went in and scoured the first floor. no luck. same with the second floor. then i get to the third floor. i look around and don’t see anything. then finally i find a sign that says 5 pizza cut!

i walk over to it, but get confused, because they’re selling t-shirts why is the pizza place selling t-shirts. then i see they’re selling jackets too and pants, what is this. pizza 5 cut is a clothing brand here. what is this garbage. i don’t think i've ever been so disappointed in my entire life.  i walk away and start to laugh at the situation, when suddenly there’s a big photo of mexican pizza to my left. right next to cut pizza 5 is this place called good day that sells mexican food or something and they have pizza! the people there were really nice, they even gave me a free soda while i was waiting for the pizza to come out, probably because i'm so sociable and handsome (this is funny because i speak no chinese and was wearing a sick mask haha). this was the high point of my last 2 days.
